The DigiBio Healthtech Innovation Programme is a 10-month postgraduate initiative designed to equip digital health leaders with hands-on training in needs-led innovation, combining design thinking with entrepreneurship. Hosted by Dundalk Institute of Technology with key academic and clinical partners, it offers immersive healthcare experience, a tax-free scholarship, and mentorship to develop commercially viable healthtech solutions.

Designed to fuel the next generation of digital health leaders and entrepreneurs.

The DigiBio programme is a unique 10-month postgraduate programme that gives you the opportunity to identify and solve real healthcare problems using digital technologies. The programme delivers hands-on training in needs-led innovation based on a tried-and-trusted needs-led innovation methodology developed by Stanford University. The programme combines design thinking with entrepreneurship and maps a route to market in the highly regulated healthtech sector. You will identify real-world healthcare needs, invent novel solutions to address those needs, and develop and validate a commercially viable business case with key stakeholders.

The programme is hosted and managed by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) with core partner RCSI managing the clinical training and immersive environment access, with additional partners DCU, Trinity College Dublin and Tyndall National Institute providing additional immersive access, technical training and mentorship.
