The BEAMER project, launched in 2021, aims to understand why patients may not adhere to their treatments and to develop strategies to improve adherence.

On 31 March 2025, BEAMER introduced B-COMPASS (BEAMER-COmputational Model for Patient Adherence and Support Solutions), a tool designed to predict adherence behaviour and identify patients’ needs and preferences. By offering personalised insights, B-COMPASS supports the development of targeted interventions to boost adherence, improve patient care, and reduce overall healthcare and societal costs.

B-COMPASS is disease agnostic. It delivers simple and actionable solutions, benefiting every stakeholder across the health ecosystem (patients, healthcare professionals, healthcare managers, pharmaceutical compagnies, payers & policy makers).

The performance of B-COMPASS will be studied in six different therapeutic areas, on eight pilot sites, which will evaluate B-COMPASS’s effectiveness in supporting patients and improving adherence.
