Female health innovation is growing in Spain, but until now, there was no clear overview showing who the key players are and what areas they work in. That’s why TISAC (who leads our Argentinian Digital Health ecosystem), Co-Salud and Digital Health Connector decided to create the Femtech Spain 2025 Map, a tool to highlight initiatives transforming women’s health through technology.

Methodology
The process began with desk research and the creation of an open form to identify new initiatives. The classification arose from the solutions found and allowed us to organize the ecosystem into different categories:

  • Endometriosis: Companies developing specific solutions for one of the most overlooked gynecological diseases.
  • Female cancer: Startups addressing the detection, diagnosis, and support for patients with breast, ovarian, and other forms of cancer.
  • Female wellness and health: Apps and services aimed at improving women’s quality of life and overall care.
  • Maternity: Platforms supporting pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, focusing on accompanying families.
  • Menopause: Digital solutions that help monitor symptoms and enhance quality of life during this stage.
  • Mental health: Companies working on preventing and treating psychological impact across the different stages of a woman’s life.
  • Menstrual health: Apps and devices that track the cycle and manage fertility.
  • Reproductive health and contraception: Innovations expanding family planning and fertility options.
  • Osteoporosis: Initiatives addressing the diagnosis and management of this condition, common in postmenopausal women.
  • Female rehabilitation: Digital solutions for pelvic floor care and functional recovery.

Results and next steps
The map reveals a diversity of previously little-known initiatives and confirms that the femtech sector in Spain is growing steadily. Our goal is to keep it updated, incorporate more categories, and connect with corporates and investors interested in driving this emerging market.

We invite all companies to review their presence on the map and contribute their information to help build a broader and more precise vision of innovation in women’s health through this form

Now we want to go further: the next challenge is to create the Femtech Map for Latin America. If you work in the sector or know of relevant initiatives, join us and help us showcase the talent and innovation transforming women’s health in the region.
