Global Health Connector and Science Summit formalise strategic partnership

Building on several years of collaboration, the partnership reinforces a shared commitment to translating scientific dialogue into coordinated action, investment pathways and implementation opportunities across global health.

As part of this collaboration, Global Health Connector and the Science Summit will jointly deliver a series of activities across key global policy and investment platforms in 2026, including:

 

World Bank Group Spring Meetings

Washington DC | During the week commencing 13 April

The convening will connect health and science priorities with development finance institutions, investors and multilateral delivery mechanisms.

As part of the Spring Meetings programme, Global Health Connector will convene a dedicated session on 15 April 2026, focused on strengthening collaboration between scientific, multilateral and financing communities and accelerating the translation of innovation into investment-ready initiatives.

 

13th Annual AERAP Forum

Brussels | 20–23 April 2026

Taking place as the European Union shapes its next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF 2028–2034) and successor to Horizon Europe (FP10), the AERAP Forum will serve as a strategic platform to strengthen EU–Africa collaboration across science, research, innovation and investment.

As part of the programme, Global Health Connector will convene a session on 22 April 2026.

 

Science Summit at United Nations General Assembly 81

New York | 8–30 September 2026

The Science Summit at UNGA81 will convene global leaders from science, policy, industry and finance to advance solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and broader multilateral priorities. The Summit plays a key role in positioning science and innovation at the centre of international policy dialogue and global development strategies.

Global Health Connector will lead a series of activities from 21 to 23 September 2026, supporting cross-sector CollaborAction and strengthening the integration of health, science and innovation within global policy and investment agendas.
