TIC Salut Social will host the 1st Athika symposium that will take place in the 27th of June at Edifici Salvany (C/Roc Boronat, 81. Barcelona). ATHIKA is an Erasmus + project funded by the EC with the mission of exploring how a humanistic dimension, including governance and ethics, can be introduced to the engineering education in relation to healthcare-related technologies such as IoT, AI or Data Analytics. Agenda: 9:00-9:30h Registration 9:30-10:30h ATHIKA Project 10:30-11:00h Coffee break 11:00-13:30h Panel sessions: IoT, Data Analytics and AI, and Governance and Ethics (30 minutes each session + 15 minutes of discussion) 13:30-15h Lunch and Networking The main objective of this Symposium is to lead the identification of e-Health innovation challenges, drivers and barriers, and to facilitate health innovation synergies with other knowledge fields such as Smart Cities. We will ask the panellists about their experiences on health improvement and specially on the challenges that still need to be addressed. And of course, we will encourage the audience to also contribute in the discussions. This is a free event (including coffee break and lunch for networking) and will be conducted in English. We expect a large audience of students, SMEs, industry, researchers, and public bodies of the sector, and we are contacting important experts of the sector as panellists, which will be confirmed soon.
