The Scottish Rural Health Partnership is collaborating with University of the Highlands and Islands and Texas A&M University to bring the inaugural International Rural Mental Health Conference to Inverness on 12 & 13 August 2019. The main conference themes are Tackling Isolation and Fostering Connections. The programme includes speakers from Texas and Australia, as well colleagues at the Scotland’s Rural College, University of Aberdeen, University of Highlands and Islands and the NHS.  A draft conference programme is now available. The conference agenda also includes the launch of the Global Collaborative for Rural Mental Health, a join initiative between University of Highlands and Islands and Texas A&M University.
