On 31 January 2020 at 11.00 (GMT) the team who led the 2019 Technology and Social Connectedness Project will be delivering a webinar to discuss the approach they took, which included a literature review, focus groups and the use of the HealthyAging in Scotland (HAGIS) dataset; some of the findings fromtheir work; and the guidance for practice that has come from the project. The Technology and Social Connectedness Project was funded by the Technology Enabled Care and Digital Healthcare Innovation Division, Scottish Government. The work was led by Louise McCabe, Alison Dawson and Elaine Douglas, University of Stirling. At DigiFest19 the Guidance for organisations and individuals using technology to promote social connectedness was published.
