Catalonia is moving towards a future in which concepts such as patient-centric, data-centric, longitudinal electronic health record, integrated care, open platform, and clinical knowledge management are routine practice.

For this vision to become reality, Catalonia is using the innovation and purchasing power of the public sector to reshape our surrounding ecosystem. In this context, the region has recently published a Request for Proposals, which aims to procure the "Clinical knowledge management platform service according with the openEHR standard". The tender, which will be open for proposals until December 21, 2022, has been published only in Catalonian language. To broaden the reach of our tender, we are publishing, along with this post, a small (non-official) guidance for international bidders about its main characteristics.
