
Today, the Health Service Executive of Ireland (HSE) and the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) announced a new partnership around the Digital Health Ecosystem in Ireland to concentrate in the following five areas:
In announcing the new partnership, Chair of ECHAlliance – Brian O’Connor said ” We have watched with great interest the accelerated progress in Digital Health in Ireland .Our longstanding relationships there enable us to connect those efforts to our Global Network and we look forward to practical steps on the Shift Left ,Stay Left strategy ,we know many of our Global communities are interested “
Martin Curley from the HSE Digital Transformation announced that ” Organizations are no longer the unit of competition – it’s all about the ecosystem – to progress and learn fast it is important to be connected to a global network of health ecosystems. We can all learn and improve faster together which will mean health benefits for every citizen and shared value through better wellbeing, welfare and economic wealth”
ECHAlliance is the Global Connector for digital health. Our global community connects 78 countries and 4.4 billion people (Africa, Americas, Asia, Canada, Caribbean, China, Europe, Commonwealth, India, the Pacific & USA) and over 20,000 experts – including government, health & social care providers, leading companies and start-ups, researchers, insurances, patients groups and citizens. We have an intelligence network of over 70+ Ecosystems, run a number of international projects, provide up to date news and social media content and organise key digital health events.
The Global Health Connector Partnership, Digital Health Observatory and The Digital Health Society movement facilitate and promote the transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices creating a community of knowledge in Digital Health globally.
