We are very excited to welcome our very first ecosystem from Slovakia led by Digital Heath Slovakia. To find out more about their work, read this chat with Eva Sabajova, Chair at Digital Health Slovakia.
Who are the key stakeholders?
Our key stakeholders are public institutions, healthcare providers, academia, researchers, EHR vendors and startups.
What are the main objectives of your ecosystem?
Our objectives as an ecosystem are:
Why do you want to join the Global Health Connector Network of Ecosystems?
Digital Health Slovakia seeks to join the Global Health Connector network to strengthen international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and partnership opportunities with peer ecosystems worldwide. We are particularly interested in building global connections for interoperability testing, cross-border data exchange pilots, and validation of digital health solutions in real-world settings.
Participation would enable us to co-develop joint initiatives, share best practices, contribute to international policy discussions, and connect Slovak stakeholders with global innovation leaders. We also aim to support collaborative research projects, capacity-building activities, and multi-country projects that advance safe, scalable, and standards-based digital health systems.
Who is missing from your ecosystem in terms of stakeholders?
We aim to further engage international healthcare providers, global standards organisations, regulatory authorities, patient advocacy groups, health insurers, and industry partners specialising in advanced analytics and cross-border digital health services. Strengthening participation from these stakeholders would enhance real-world testing, validation, and scaling of interoperable solutions.
Which ecosystems are you looking to collaborate with?
We are interested in collaborating with ecosystems focused on digital health interoperability, health data spaces, AI in healthcare, telemedicine, public health analytics, and cross-border health data exchange. Priority is given to partners experienced in international interoperability testing, standards implementation, regulatory sandboxes, and multi-country pilot deployments, as well as ecosystems working on global health innovation, capacity building, and digital health infrastructure development.
